We’re delighted to welcome Sharon, our Commercial Manager, to the growing community at Regency Place, Tockwith.

Sharon has played a key role within Evans Homes since the very beginning of the Regency Place development. As Commercial Manager, she ensures every detail of our homes meets the highest standards of quality and care — a commitment that defines all our projects. That makes it especially meaningful that Sharon has chosen one of our homes for herself. It’s a true testament to the confidence our team has in the homes we build and the communities we create.

Here’s what Sharon shared about settling into her new home:

“I’ve been in my new home for two weeks now, and I absolutely love it. It already feels like home — warm, welcoming, and peaceful. But sometimes, when I sit in the lounge, I get a wave of imposter syndrome. I can’t quite believe that this beautiful house in such a stunning location is really mine. It honestly feels like I’m on holiday.

I’ve visited both of the local pubs — they’re less than a five-minute walk from my door — and they’ve been fantastic. Great atmosphere, really welcoming people, and delicious food. The village itself is full of kind, friendly faces. People say “morning” as they pass you on walks, and there’s a real sense of community here.

The surrounding countryside is breath-taking, with so many lovely walks right on my doorstep. And while it feels delightfully rural, I’m only a short 10-minute drive from Wetherby — a charming, historical market town with everything I need.

I feel incredibly lucky to be here.”
